The thesis has achieved the objectives and research tasks. This is a meticulous project with new theoretical and practical implications for tourism development in regional association in Vietnam in general and tourism development in Hai Phong city in regional association of the Red River Delta in particular.
a. About theory
Summing up and clarifying the theoretical basis for tourism development and tourism development in regional association; criteria for evaluating tourism development, contents and criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of tourism development in regional association; then applied to the city of Hai Phong. Specially, the results of assessing the level of regional tourism association, from the angle of state management and tourism business is quite new, suitable for the analysis of tourism.
b. About reality
The thesis clarifies the strengths and limitations of the factors affecting the tourism development of Hai Phong city in regional association of the Red River Delta. Analyze the achievements and challenges in tourism development of Hai Phong city in period 2005 - 2015 with selected criteria and sociological survey method.Evaluate the content of Hai Phong city's tourism development in regional association of the Red River Delta between the state management agencies and tourism service providers and related parties. Point out the effect of the situation based on some basic indicators. Indicate the direction and solution groups to develop Hai Phong city's tourism in regional association of the Red River Delta by 2030. Recommendations are made to orient the tourism development of Hai Phong city in coordination with requirements and visions of regional association with practical significance.
The thesis provided the scientific basis for the provinces and cities in the Red River Delta region; Especially Hai Phong city, Hanoi capital, Quang Ninh province and Ninh Binh province in coordinating and associating together to develop fast, strong and sustainable tourism.
