The International Issues Division

The International Issues Division (IID) mandates focus on: (1) providing analysis on political and geo-economic perspectives which contribute preparing social-economic plans and strategies; (2) updating Vietnam's economic cooperation with major partners and neighboring countries; (3) carrying out cooperation, research on trade, investment and international integration of Vietnam; (4) working as the focal point for international co-operation activities between VIDS and international partners. IID currently has 11 researchers of which 03 holding Ph.D and 08 MSc in many different disciplines such as economics, international economics, and development economics.
