Responsibilities: Assists the President in managing the Institute's general affairs, including: 

- Advises, formulates, and provides critical review on economic and finance policies (related to macroeconomic policy, sectoral and industry-specific economics, infrastructure and urban development); 

- Manages external relations andF cooperation within assigned tasks;

- Performs other duties as assigned by the President.

Directly in charge of: the Division of Macroeconomics and Forecasting; the Division of Sectoral and Industry Economics; the Division of Infrastructure and Urban Development.
